| Summary: Well made but offers no protection

It’s a waste of money, well for me anyway. I bought it hoping that a PSP in a Logitech PlayGear Pocket Case would fit inside. It doesn’t.
The Hori Portable Pouch is well made and strong and has many ways to attach it to belt or bag. The zipped main pouch has a pocket that will just fit two UMD disks. It also has two memorystick pockets and two pockets at the bottom were you could put mini headphones, but unfortunately the pouch for the PSP is open and not zipped. This case would have been half decent if the PSP pouch could be zipped closed completely. The PSP is very snug in its pouch and when turned upside down, it takes some shaking for it to fall out, but this doesn’t change the fact that your PSP sticks out.
Why on earth anyone would want a case where your PSP is partially exposed to damage is beyond me. I’m never ceased to be amazed why designers never think of the practical use of their products. Not designed by someone who owns a PSP I guess.
If you’re a school kiddie who wants to show off the fact you have a PSP, then this is the pouch for you. It should look pretty good attached to your school bag. But since I only ride motorbikes, there’s no way I’d trust this pouch hanging off my belt or bag while riding to work or friends. Not because of the belt/bag attachments as they seem to be very strong, but because the PSP sticks out and offers no protection.
At this point in time the only descent case for your PSP is the Logitech PlayGear Pocket. I’m still waiting for someone to design a man purse that will fit the PlayGear Pocket and have space for UMD’s (preferably while in a UMD case), memorysticks and mini headphones.
So in the cupboard it goes to gather dust along with the Powerwave leather case that my girlfriend got when she brought me my PSP.

It does have alittle bit of the PSP sticking out. But you dont have to worry about it falling out. It has straps that hold the PSP in place. It sells for 30 + S&H. Bu I bught mine off ebay for alittle less then $15.00 and that included shipping and handling from hong kong. So thats a really good deal. People are worried about the part that is exposed. Its not alot that is exposed. Around 1/6. So just the directional pad shows. The Screen is well protected. Not the best in the rain. But easy to cover so you still dont need to worry. And the PSP is tough You dont need a titanium and kevlar case like everyone seems to think. Maybe if your really clumsy this would be a bad case. But for most peole it will do great. And no this case will not hold another psp case. Because they thought if you bought this case it would be enough. Because they designed it for that. Plus it seems kinda stuped. It's like putting a Vault in a Vault. We just and to be sure our money is protected. If you dont trust one case. I recommend you dont even touch your PSP. What would happen if you dropped it? All im saying is Relax if you dont think it will do the job dont buy it.

I like this bag looks a lot, but I must agree with the reviwer when it states that it should be enough room to carry a protective case as well. Mainly because this is suppose to be a transpottation bag, not a protective one. A protective case (in my opinion) is a case that is used to put your PSP whenever you not playing with it, a carry case/bag is used to carry the machine when you go out with it.
