This fast pace racer has to be one of the best hover racing games since F-Zero GX.
Gameplay
Wipeout Pure consists of 5 Single player modes (Single Race, Tournament, Time Trial, Zone, and Free Play) Each mode lets you earn Gold medals the more gold medals you will unlock tracks and receive a title (You can not receive medals for free play).
There also is a class selection (Vector, Venom, Flash, Rapier, and Phantom) each class is slightly faster and harder Vector the easiest and Phantom the hardest.
Single Race lets you just race one track in a Tournament with out doing the hole Tournament.
Tournament consists of 4 circuits each circuit containing 4 races except the 4th one that recaps the other 3 circuit .
Time Trail is where you can compete against a set time for bronze, silver and gold and you can also compete against a ghost of your fastest lap.
Zone this is my favorite of them all. You get a cool ship called the "Zone Team" there are 4 tracks in each track it slowly gets faster and faster and faster tell your ship blows up. Each zone that you complete the faster your ship gets. (Get it?) (Hint: get gold on all 4 of the Zone tracks you unlock the Zone Team or you could just download my save over to the left and just have the zone team =D)
Free Play well I don't think I need to explain this...
Multiplayer - Haven't really had time to find some one to race around here but I did race one guy for about 2 mins and seemed vary smooth and no lag what so ever.
Weapons
There are quite a variety of these suckers from Rockets to Shields. They make the game much more exiting and adds a level of difficulty to the game.
GFX
GFX are top notch I was really surprised how smooth they are on this little handheld. I have not noticed any Ghosting or any FPS loss when playing either. 9/10
Sound
Music is top notch but the SFX are kind of generic but do a vary good job. The onboard computer in the ship also tells you if some one shoots a rocket at you or if you are coming up on to some mines. 8/10
Value
It is one of the cheaper games that came out so I have no clue why you wouldn't get it. + it has a web browser on it you cant go wrong. 10/10
