Summary: Not bad for a first try

I got this game very soon after its release and was impressed with it overall. Being a huge fan of FPSs I couldn't wait to get my hands on this. I think it was worth it in the end despite some flaws.

Load times - 95
When I booted up the first thing I noticed was that the load times were excellent compared to the other games I own, often finished in less than 7 seconds.

Gameplay - 80
This wasn't bad, but I noticed the maps were fairly repetitive, AI was both fairly dumb and higly effective. Sorta DOOMish: move, aim at you, shoot. But it was more sophistiacted in some respects, such as with snipers and reflectors. I thought that 30 weapons was a lot and should be fun, but when there are 30 separate weapons all requiring their own distinctive ammo, it becomes frustrating to keep your weapons full. Also, you can't tell what you're picking up until you do it. Playability was excellent other than these flaws.

Graphics - 95
This game looks very slick graphically. This is normally what I use to show off my PSP. They don't get much prettier than these outside the racing genre.

Sound - 75
There are few things more satisfying then that grinding click the sniper rifle makes when reloaded. Overall, the sound effects for the guns are excellent. The shotgun sounds incredibly powerful, and I don't normally like reloading in games, but this one it's all right due to badass sound effects. HORRIBLE, repetitive techno music plays WHENEVER there's an opponent nearby, which ruins the suspense unless you turn it off, which makes it boringly quiet.

Controls - 95
Very impressive and workable within minutes unless you're a wuss who likes to go around complaining about that kind of thing: "OMG where's my Mouse and Keyboard?!" Get over it. They made a working control system, ESPECIALLY if you're a Southpaw or ambidextrous (like me).

Single player - 85
Dull AI and scarce ammo make it kind of annoying. There are a few points when a level can take 7 minutes, and you have 3. On your next try you have to remember not to pick up that trigger item, or else you can't win. Overall, very fun and addictive.

Multiplayer - 100
This is absolutely excellent. I would be on my PSP constantly if this supported infrastructure. But since I have 3 friends who have this, 4 player battles are easy to get going in addition to being hysterical. -"Dude where did you go?!" -"I'm on your head. Reloading my shotgun." -"HAHAHA DOUBLE KILL! ROCKETS RULZ!"
