Capdase's Luxury Hard Case is a simple, black or silver, anondized aluminum case with two memory stick slots and stand that also comes with a nice leather hand strap.

The case has a nice rubber-like bottom and feels incredibly sturdy all around. On the inside, the top of the case has a thin, padded material to help protect your screen and buttons when closed. There are also two Memory Stick slots, which are literally nothing more than slots. Sticks fit in well, and should be secure when the case is closed, but there is no lock mechanism of any kind for them.

When you put the PSP in, there are two dimples that fit into the top of the PSP, securing it very tightly, and ensuring that it doesn't fall outwhile in cradle mode. The back of the case where the UMD door rests, folds out to make the bottom of the cradle, providing a decent viewing angle.

All ports are uncovered, even the bottom speaker ports, so gaming with the case on is not an issue. It isn't at all heavy unlike the PGP or other cases. Finally, the locking mechanism for the case is a traditional slide-over nub. Many report that the nub wears down after time, but we haven't seen this happen ourselves. Our only complaint is that the case is a little hard to open, requiring you to dig your fingernail in to pry it open.

Overall, the Capdase Luxury Hard Case is great. Very simple, yet very effective. It bears a striking resemblance in terms of form and function to the Madcatz Stealth Case, but without the interior screen protector and pointless outset logo. The Capdase's PSP-holding dimples are a great addition, ensuring that your PSP doesn't fall out, and the two Memory Stick holders will be useful to some. The lock could've been better, but it does the trick.

Ha Ha, very funny :~)

While I aggre with you that you can't see a PSP screen in direct sunlight, you can in indirect sunlight and the PGP/Face Armor can help facilitate this by providing additional shadow.

BTW, the Capdase front cover can be configured to some custom angles. There are two hinges on it the bottom one is stiff and the top is completely loose. I have been able to configure it into a sunshade, but it doesn't hold its shape as rigidly as I like.

CowMix:

I don't think that the memory sticks, will touch the screen with the front closed, if the sticks are properly secured in the neoprene rubber. The problem is the neoprene dosn't properly secure the memory sticks at all. The memory sticks will fly out when opened, at least on my unit. I beleive the problem stems from that the fact that the neoprene rubber layer isn't nearly thick enough to hold the memory sticks in place.

If memory stick storage is important to you, you should buy the Madcatz stealth case or mod a PGP to hold memory cards.
