Basically it is a fun game - the car customization options give it the edge over your avergae racer. No realism in terms of handling but then the Underground series never really concentrated on that anyway.
The controls are acceptable if you use the D-pad only. The dead zone on the analugue is pathetic but I discovered the silver lining in this grey cloud when it comes to taking really sharp turns  try it, you'll like it!
Overall a fun enough game but not a must buy!
