Gameplay - 90
Easy to jump in and get revved up! Fun races, eliminator options, menacing extreme car crashes, car collecting (Real stakes--you can challenge a friend with that hot rod you've put effort on winning on during wireless matches with friends. If they beat you, they get your car and its bye-bye hot rod!). Go through a world circuit for different racing and eliminator races. Good controls, although it can be awkward to hit reverse quickly in heated races. A bit different tactics from the current Burnout Revenge. In Burnout Revenge on the Xboxx and PS2, you can hit cars you are behind of. In this version, you will crash. Don't know why Electronic Arts didn't apply the same rules on the handheld. If you have this on one of the platforms and play it on your PSP, you wil see what I mean. The manual is about 6 pages long, so this is a quick game to jump into. You'll obsess over car collecting, signature photos shots, trophies, and getting all the golds!
Graphics - 95
Very slick car reflections, gritty looking tracks, screeching sparks, fun slow motion aftertouches (when you steer your car into other cars after you crash in bullet time).
Programming - 80
There are occasional annoyances here. Mainly Polygon Popping. This ussually happens on the still screens, when the actions slows down or stops. This is my only major gripe with Burnout Legends. After a crash, you may see the contcrete polygons jittering or moving like a blob, back and forth. In pursuit games, sometimes the car you are pursuing gets stuck on some alternate course that leaves you "suspended" a bit in a camera mode. Polygon popping happens (you can see through the floors or some objects occasionally. Reflections are nice, blur effect may seem a bit grainier than the smoother burs you are used to from the console versions.
Multiplayer - 85
You can share Burnout Revenge with a friend that does not have it. This doesn't have an online mode like twisted metal. Ad-Hoc mode only. Would have been fun. Up to six players.
Sound FX - 90
Nice reving up. Car honks, sirens, screeches and signature explosions! What you'd expect. But I am especially excited at wheat is not present - the annoying DJ dude from Burnout 3.
Music - 88
Nice tracks to get your adrenalin pumped. Some are cheesier than others, but overall, a nice selection of punk pop.
Loadtimes - 87
Loads fairly fast. The reply of course causes a little reload time. Doesn't have the problem like Ridge Racer when you pause the game and go back in, the music is no longer loaded.
Replay - 95
Lots of perfection needed to unlock all the car and rewards. So many rewards to unlock.
Player's tilt/Overall - 88
I love this series. Easy to get into, easy to learn. Hard to master. Fast and furious fun! Polygon glitches can be a minor annoyance.

I got this game just yesterday, its awsome, the cop mode is alright, its pretty much like road rage. Graphics are amazing, just one thing is that it some times freezes for like half a sec to change to the next track, other than that total awsomeness!!!!

i sure hope this game is all its cracked up to be. cuz im getting bored with lumines (yeah its starting to get really hard now). ima get this and a bigger memory stick then itll all be good.
