I've played all the Metal Gear series simulatneously, and even when I knew the new Metal Gear was coming out I'd play all of them again just to catch up on the story, so you can tell I'm a loyal Metal Gear fan! But, this Pokemon ripoff is such a letdown to the M.G. franchise it's unbelivable! The graphics are nothing less than what you woul expect but the gameplay is lacking. Some of us are not 7 and we don't play Pokemon games. The card system is a bit whack. But then the Metal Gear magic will capture you again, but it takes awhile to get used to the game with the cards but it's really not that bad. For those that don't know what I'm talking about and want to buy this game, read this part carefully -- the card system is all about restricted movement and careful planning. You use cards to control Snake and his arsenal but you have to have a bit of patience to play this. The cutscenes are a bit long winded and they really need to get to the point quicker. All in all it's not too bad, but they no longer have the characters talking so alot of reading is involved. MGS fans play this and stay loyal to the series, and those of you who are new, play this because it will have you wanting more by the end, I promise!
Overall, this is a quality game but it takes a bit of getting used to so be patient with it and ull have hours of fun. I'm going to have to deduct marks for the card system but after that it's all good!
