Even though I got my PSP a few moths ago, it's still a novelty for me. I choose my movies based on what I think would look good on that screen. This movie didn't do it for me.
After seeing Apleseed on the PSP I was blown away and started longing for more anime on UMD. I was really looking forward to this release.
The movie plot is OK but not great. I can get over that. What I didn't really like is that most of the movie has a dark, gloomy look to it. I understand that's probably what the director wanted since he wanted to reflect an industrial feel to it. There's nothing wrong with that but I, for instance, want the graphics on the PSP to captivate me.
Don't get me wrong I liked the movie, just not for the PSP.
Yap -- my comment on another thread -- lots of dark blue, dark brown, black and scenes in shadow that just blur together and look like mud. But when the actions outside the scenes and machines and stuff are all quite nice!
