| Summary: Fantastic realism, the ultimate Rally game...
98
Colin McRae has to be the finest Rally game I have played on any console and I have played it on most other machines as well as Rallisport Challenge and Richard Burns Rally. How Codemasters have managed to squeeze all this into one UMD for the PSP amazes me. The game leans towards the realistic side of Rally driving and you really feel like you're there crashing and bumping about in one of those 30 perfectly reproduced cars. Tey even managed to add the classics like my favourite Mini Cooper S which is great fun to do handbrake skids and jumps in.
If you look carefully enough your and your co-pilots name are stickered to the rear side windows of your car. The lush, beautifully drawn landscapes with distance view that will have you pulling over and forgetting the Rally thing and just gazing off at the viewpoint.
The gameplay is huge with lots of Rally cars & country's, each with lots of tracks to challenge you. This game will certainly challenge, but this is not road racing, easy steering and arcade style driving, this is a simulation of Rally driving at its best, realistic handling and views with lots more. I would highly recommend this game.

i'm just getting sick of this american sense of entitlement in the kids these days. all they say is boo hoo why dont we get this and we DESERVE this. some people just expect everything and it seems like there is an uprising of spoiled, sheltered, little brats that think they should get everything they want in life. i used to be the same way, then i grew up. so many people are dying in new orleans but no, they care about themsevles first of all. i'm not targeting anyone in particular so if you are upset, you're probably one of those kids i just mentioned. yeah, it sucks that we dont get things at the same time as Japan or the UK but we're just gonna have to deal with it or kill oursevles, i think i can deal with it a little longer lol.
now lets get back to the topic at hand, this game, which looks amazing and i seriously cant wait to get it.

HE HE....blimey me ole gran used to say 'things come to ye who waits' 'its worth the wait' and she was just talking about her pint of Guinness....
I can tell you this Colin Mc game is superb, althought bloomin difficult

If you look at the developer....Codemasters you will see they are a British company, therefore serving their home territory first. You guys get almost everything else before us! For example EA games always get released in the US first. Just do what I did & buy your games on ebay. I've had my Jap PSP since April & bought 8 US games via ebay before the Euro launch, there's nothing stopping you importing them via ebay.

Just to add to what matt said:
Do you know how long we have to wait to get stuff?
For example: The psp came out here 10 days ago.
Now, tell me.. actually all people from the UK how you think its not fair that you don't get Colin McRae Rally. I assure you, you will get more than your head bitten off.
edit- haha, just realised that there was a first page. Some people have had their nuts bitten off.edited: Sep 18 2005
