When walking around the modern realms of society, you may or may not notice someone walking around beraing a white T-shirt with the big letters saying "Vote for Pedro."
"Who's Pedro?" you might ask. He's one of the stars of 2004's hit Indie's film, Napoleon Dynamite, the story of a high school guy who, well, does an interesting thing to help Pedro win the rank of Class President.
This film is a picture perfect time-passer, and is perfect for a plane ride, or general viewing. The only bad thing is the high price, and the fact that you'll look like a mental case as you laugh to yourself.
This UMD is for those who really enjoyed the movie and don't mind shelling out a big $25 for it. The price is likely to go down soon. However, if you, like me, are a huge fan of the film, this UMD movie is a MUST have.

A good movie has a decent plot with rising action, not just a kids life and then boom his friend wants to go out for class president in some unkown school. Even comidies have good plots but not this movie it just sucks and I think people were paid to say it was funny or they are just as idiotic as this movie.

Well call me an idiot, I thought it was a great movie. One of the best I've seen.
The movie is satire. It's a love story. It depicts the struggle of an outsider trying to fit in and is a commentary on family and the social structure of high school. I feel bad if you all missed that.
The humor in it is not stupid humor, but educated satire. It had a fresh point of view on things and was presented in a unique way. I dont know how many times it comes up into conversation in my day to day life. People you wouldnt think quoting it.
I heard the mayor say "You ever take this thing of any sweet jumps". Maybe it has a cult following, maybe only more educated people get it, maybe it's only funny if you werent a cool kid in high school, I dont know. But the fact the brought it back to theaters because so many people liked it says something.
It had a strong but subtle plot. I just dont see why people dislike it so strongly. It was a riot.

Finally, some intelligent defense of this movie. You singlehandedly double the average IQ of those who appreciate this movie. I have a new respect for it. I raise my previous score to 2/100.

Why bother? No matter what movie I choose, people will disagree for the sake of argument in defense of ND, even if they like the movie I choose.
