After several months with Twisted Metal, I realized I really needed a good, long single player game. Since I have always been quite fond of RPG's, I soon ended up owning this game.

Graphics
I must say, the PSP's graphics really amazes one who has been staring into the screen of a GBA for several years. This game's graphics may not be the best, but it certainly is very nice. The game plays very smoothly, with little slow-downs. The background is very nice and also very detailed.

Sound
The game's music is not very intersesting to listen to, so there isn't much to say there. The sound effects are nice, such as the (if you turn the volume up a bit, you will hear it) footsteps of your character, and the crackle of fire. The biggest thing that is lacking here is some voice acting.

Playability
The game is very fun, even though things can get a bit repetitive. There are plenty of missions to play through, and even if you finish, you could always play again with a different character class, or even revisit the game with your high level character.

Load Times
The load times are considerably long and, though I haven't timed it, some say the load time is as long as 30, or even 45 seconds. In my opinion, I think (as mentioned in captain's review) that the load times is a great time to take a stretch, and let your eyes have a short break. Yet, for anyone who is constantly going back and forth from dungeon to town, the load times can be quite a pain.

Overall, I think the game is worth the money, and is great, considering it is the first RPG for this handheld. Unfortunately, I haven't had the chance to try the multiplayer so I can't remark on that.
