The Pelican Face Armor screen protector is not the most elegant of solutions, but in the words of Han Solo, "she might not look lke much, but she's got it where it counts, kid."

The Face Armor attaches to the PSP via the threaded holes on either side of the USB port on top of the unit. The metal thumb screws hold the cover tightly, but do add a bit to the profile of the PSP. When closed, the cover provides protection for the entire face of the PSP including all of the front buttons. A thin layer of neoprene on the inside of the lid prevents the cover from scratching the PSP.

When closed, the shiny black surface of the Face Armor cover matches the sleek polished look of the PSP. The cover has three positions: closed, half open and fully open. When half-open, the cover functions as a sun visor.

For 10 bucks, you really can't go wrong with the Pelican Face Armor. The only real downsides to this product are that it doesn't provide any screen protection while you're actually using the PSP (no see-through cover), and the thumb screw mount will make fitting the PSP into a form-fitting case a little difficult, if not impossible.

It's not the perfect solution, but the excellent price makes it a great value.

Pros
• Attractive look when closed
• Provides excellent protection for entire front of PSP
• Neoprene lining prevents scratches when closed
• VERY affordable

Cons
• Does not provide protection when playing games
• Mounting bracket adds to PSP profile
