| Summary: Good buy!
86
Coded Arms is the first FPS for handheld, and baby, it aint too shabby!
Graphics - 70
The graphics are purdy, but nothing special. For those who enjoyed console style graphics in NFL Streets 2 and Metal Gear Acid, dont get your hopes up. The graphics reminded me of a super duper version of the N-Gage. The only thing going is the lighting, and some of the weapons, and effects.
Story - 40
Hardly any story, just that you're a Hacker who hacks into a rogue Military Training program in the not so far future. This program, was design for combat training, but went crazy during the production. Hackers wanted to hack it, and people wanted to make cash/game out of it. And the rest is all fuzzy.
Sound - 20
Annoying techno music, only when enemys is around. Think Splinter Cell when you're in trouble, but really really really annoying.
Gameplay
Actually good, the only thing holding Coded Arms together. The gameplay reminded me of Halo kissing, and holding hands with Half-Life. Bugs, weird looking aliens, and cloaking power ups. Along with a cool nifty multiplayer! I just hope, the haxors dont get any idea's to mod the game into a new game. Coded Strike.
Loading Times - 100
FAST, fastest PSP game I ever owned!
Overall
Coded Arms, in general is a great game to own, it has replay value (random Levels, and gun upgrade/finding), and a nifty bit of mulitplayer options. But the game does feel like it was made for handheld, nothing for a player to be immersed into.
