Ok, now that PSP is all new and shiney asking to be scratched right? While your trying to reason with the new PSP to try and not get itself scratched, you think, "Wait why am I talking to my PSP"
Seriously though, the softcase is nothing more than a holdover until the Logitech Polycarbonite metal case is released in early April.
The case feel somewhat soft on the inside, and is pretty well padded. I used it today in my pocket, and the black material, picked up every single piece of lint in my pocket.
I see many of these on eBay once the more wanted cases are released.
