I was so glad to get my Pro Gamer's Kit.
The earphones fell apart after 3 weeks (see separate review) and the UMD case self destructed and in the process badly scratched a UMD (thankfully it wasn't a mortal wound).
On the upside, however, the case is really quite excellent for the money paid; the headphones and UMD case aside, in gives you pretentious, snug storage for your PSP and includes really all the basics a burgeoning PSP geek could want.
I expect I had just bought a "bad apple", and am overall quite pleased that I made the purchase.
