These earphones are great, you can't hear any outdoor noise and they are so comfortable you forget they are in. These are going to be great for all games on the PSP, especially games like GTA and Burnout Legends when they come out. I also use these earphones with my iPod and the sound quality is amazing and so clear. If you have the money buy these earphones, you can't get much better for gaming or listening to music.
I can think of..2..no..3..hmm..28,433 other ways to spend $199. If you need good, inexpensive earphones <compared to THESE>..try the fonotopia series by Sony..I hear they are good..<heh, get it.hear>.
What if You love music? What if your a musician and don't want to hear your instruments?what if you have neighbours that have the police station on speed dial for noise? ..There are plenty of good reasons to have a great set of earplugs like these.I Haven't tried them yet but i plan on it .
My mistake..I assumed since this is PSP411..they would be for gaming and movies..possibly mp3's. I didnt realize you were using your PSP while playing with a band. Also, I didnt know the neighbors could hear my headphones at all...they havent even MENTIONED it. I dont doubt there are good reasons to have nice headphones..I doubt they are 5 times as good as Sony's headphones... <for 90% of us..they are overpriced..for you the gamer/musician..who knows>.
My point is that people spend thousands for great sound <even for gaming and movies> I think your 90% estimation is false.if they are over priced for you thats fine but i find the review insightfull.I have both the sony ex71 and the panasonic RP-HJE50 and the cheaper panas walk on the sonys,so price is not the issue .I can not comment on these as I do not own them yet but apparently they are some of the best headphones out. and this comment..".Also, I didnt know the neighbors could hear my headphones at all...they havent even MENTIONED it"..thats the point!
Oh I see...your advocating buying these for my NEIGHBORS...now, that is a good investment. Then I can play my games as loud as I want on my headphones..wait..your not making sense. Oh well.. goodluck with your $199 headphones..gonna buy my $40 set and 150 music downloads@.99 apiece... I really do happen to like music.
layman terms ..I don't need to blast my stereo to enjoy my music at a high volume with great sound. How am I advocating buying these for the neighbour?
Just FYI...I figured out what J2daROC meant about 'neighbors/instruments'..hes right.. if your using them to keep your neighbors from complaing when your having band practice..etc.. I just thought they were REALLY expensive for a psp accessory..but then I thought $100 for my 1gb memory card was 3x what it was worth...I was wrong
