Summary: Well, I was a little worried when I first purchased these

Well, I was a little worried when I first purchased these headphones, they were so damn small! But I have to admit that I am pleasantly surprised by their performance and quality. While the bass is not up to what some of the larger headphones can produce, they sound great. The three sizes of earbuds that come with them provide a broad range of comfort for users, and there should be something that fits you nicely no matter what your inner ear size is. They also come with two cases, one for the ear buds, then another that you can put the whole thing in. Very nice for the budget minded consumer.

PS: If you can afford it and have no money limit, go with the Shure ear buds, they are great. But if you are on a budget, you can't go wrong by the Fontopias!

I used to have the Ex71 headphones. And i have to say, they sounded ok. But that is where I stop being positive about these headphones. First of all, the Ex71 headphone s have a 2 piece cable. One part has a cable that is about 8 inches long, then there is a longer cable that you plug it into so that is is actually usable. And here is where this piece of ear fails. The cable once plugged in is about 6 ft long. Why? Having the extra is already bad, because it does have some loss in audio quality (go ahead and flame me all you want, but this is true, I make my living from the sound biz, I know my stuff), as well as the cable constantly gets tangled up with itself. Trust me, I have tried every possible way to pack them nicely. They always get tangled, and sometimes it just turns into a rat's nest.

I am able to purchase these from the company store here @ Sony or less than half of what the retail price is. So the end cost is about $22. But I would happily spend the $200 on a good apir from Shure. As a sound pro, I am used to spending good money on a set of cans, and I always they pay for themselves time and time again. But for all of you out there planning on getting thee terribly designed cans, DON'T. There are better headphones out there for similar $$$.

Just my opinion.
