I travel a lot and take my PSP with me on every trip. I play games on it and watch movies rented from Gamefly. So the idea of a rugged case that extends the PSP battery life and props it up and improves the sound sounds like just what I need.
The good: As a case it is great, albeit much bulkier than the PSP unsheathed. The PSP fits snugly and the case latches securely. The extended battery functions as advertised. You use the PSP charger cable to charge the case and PSP simultaneously, although it charges the PSP before charging the case. No complaints - all 50/50 points come from the case/battery function.
The bad: As for propping the PSP up, it works but the Nyko has only one angle. Not so great.
The ugly: Loud noise whenever the PSP is attached. Mediocre sound quality. It completely sucks for sound.
I returned the Nyko Theater Experience and replaced it with two toys. The Nyko Charger Case works just fine for a case and battery extender. The Logitech speakers, while a bit awkward in assembly, sound good and are infintely adjustable for angle.
