Summary: Sleek, Sexy, and Strong!

Ever since I purchased the PSP, I have dreamed of using it in my car for music, movies, and simply to impress my friends! The Arkon VG242 windshield mount allows me to do just that!

This is a very slick and simple mount for your car. It uses a suction cup to easily and firmly mount to your windshield. It is not just the standard suction cup, but rather the kind that has the lever that locks it into place. The kit also includes a sticky pad that will allow you to place the mount on your dashboard.

The neck of the mount is felxible in 360 degrees, and is very strong. I was worried that the neck would eventually lose it's strength, and that the PSP would swivel around. I can't imagine this ever happening, as it's hard enough for me to bend the neck with my bare hands! The part of the neck that connects to the clasp is a ball joint that allows the PSP to be even furthur maneuvered.

The clasp for the PSP is surprisingly strong, and it features a button that pops the clasp out of place to instantly release the PSP so you can easily take it with you. The pads on either side of the clasp hold the PSP firmly; I had no worry of it falling out when I was testing the mount.

Overall this is a classy and sexy accessory for anyone who wants to wow passengers in their car. Or in my case, make your crappy car look really awkward!

I wish I could give this product a 100, since I find no flaw in it, The $30 price is perfect for what you get.

Wow you guys aren't very bright (the ones posting about it being a distraction). This thing mounts to whatever the hell you want it to. The windshield, a side window, your door, car's center divider... whatever. That's what the sticky pad is for. And, no, it doesn't have to be a distraction. I didn't use mine for movies at all, I used it for music. And if you do want to use it for movies, just angle it so only the passengers can see it! Not a very difficult concept!

Personally, I use mine on my desk to mount my PSP next to my computer, it looks great, and is really convenient! Check it out. (Yes, I am a big Halo fan.)

am I the only person that is sensible enough to only use stuff like this parked? ie I've driven out somewhere, but have to wait a while, so why not watch one of those transcoded vids?
I don't know anyone stupid enough to watch video while driving. if I did, chances are that i wouldn't know them for long.

where do we get it though? I have noticed on ebay that they are selling them both as pda holders and as psp holders. the psp ones are priced higher. From the pictures they appear to be the same thing.

SO where is the best place to get them?

Confusing... Hmmmm.... so which one do we get. It seems most of them have some wired options. I am curious to find out how low the one that hooks up the windshield will go?

The VG242 9" model is the one I reviewed. I'm not sure what you mean by "how low", but the length of the shaft should cover that question.
