In short, this thing is GREAT. The PSP fits in perfectly, and once it's in, it won't move. The speaker sound quality is fantastic. And it gets LOUD. When attached to the PSP, the grip portion of the Sound Grip makes the PSP extremely comfortable to hold. However, IMHO it was a little more difficult to use the analog nub when attached.

One cool thing about the Sound Grip is that it comes with a AC jack in the back that allows you to charge the PSP without disconnecting it from the Sound Grip.

Another item of note is that the Sound Grip comes with a display stand AND a nice carrying case. The stand, as shown in the pictures, allows you to watch movies at a perfect angle instead of having to hold the unit the whole time.

Overall, great solid product, well built, speakers sound GREAT, runs off 2 AAA batteries or AC cord, comes with a nice stand and carrying case. I'd buy another one without hesitation.

How does the speaker sound? Can you post some of the actual speaker statistics? Have you used any of the other add-on speakers for the PSP? If so, how does this compare?

I think that if I was ever going to actually plop the PSP down on a table to watch a movie that I would want not only larger speakers, but also a flashier presentation a la the Logitech speaker system or similar. But that's just me.
