Well, I love puzzle games and I was unbelievably excited when I saw the premise of the game. The graphics are stunning. The gameplay is surprisingly very deep with the game offering 3 different 1 player modes and a versus mode.

"VS CPU" mode. This is a split screen style battle between you and the computer. If you clear blocks, you can actually move the line in between you and the computer to decrease their play area and increase yours! You can knock them all the way down to 4 columns. You progress through the same levels each time versus different opponets. The music, block theme, and background all match the opponent you are facing.

"Puzzle Mode" I will have to say that this is quite difficult. You have to form a series of blocks based on the shape that they give you. You progress through the levels (I'm only on 3 ), and if you die, they keep a list of the levels in order so you can start at any point you left off.

"2P VS Mode" I have not yet played anybody, but I would imagine it is just like the VS CPU mode. If you look in options, the game actually keeps a record of all of the VS mode games you have played.

Overall, this game was definitely worth $40 and I could not be more pleased with the quality of the graphics and music. This game definitely keeps me coming back.
