Before my voyage to Taiwan to visit some relatives, I invested my money in a Power Brick. It resembles nothing short of a square-like hockey puck. It is difficult to figure out what goes into where (believe it or not) because the external battery pack comes with a charger that links itself to your AC adapter port in the PSP. It's hard to fit into the Power Brick itself, and took me some time to actually jam the thing in there, until it began to work.
The battery life of your PSP is increased by a big amount, and the power brick actually does what it says on the box. (except for the charge up to two times lie, try more like 1 and 1/4). When I charged it for the third time, the LED refused to blink (signaling a full charge i'm guessing), and didn't even charge my Power Brick one bit. What's more is that I was stuck without PSP gameplay for almost 9 hours. bah.
Overall, this was a great product, but what saddened me was the inability to charge twice in one go. Oh well, no product is perfect.
Pros
Design as small as the UMD Panel door
Excellent choice for domestic flights
The fact that it can charge your 1 and 1/4 of the way
Cons
Weird, hard-fitting AC Adaptor Cable
Pelican does not perform the greatest quality-wise
