I am a huge Metal Gear and Metal Gear Solid fan, so as soon as I got my PSP this was the first thing I bought. Here is my review.
Graphics: I was not disappointed at all. They are very good looking, showed the PSPs' power for sure.
Sound: Of course music always sets a mood to a game and the music was good as always. Isn't as good as the other games, but still wasn't bad.
Replay: Playing the game over and over may seem repetitive but many want to go back and collect every card or put together the perfect deck for each level. And if a friend has it, it also has online.
Multiplayer: Online! Ad-Hoc only. Wow, that really sucks. But if you find anyone to play with, I bet it would be a blast =D.
Gameplay: Cards, cards, cards. Many had this thought when they revealed it would have card gameplay. Well it actually is great with the cards. If you think about it as breaking down his actions into tiny fractions of a second, then it brings a new sense to the whole thing. It allows you to take your time and be tactical and strategic with these cards. Also you can make one badass deck.
Overall: Great game, great story, Metal Gear. Pretty much that alone will hook some people. I enjoyed this very much so. Do I recommed anyone picking this up? If you don't at least rent it, you are missing out for sure. Check it, Metal Gear Acid.
