The simple and repetitive gameplay is fun for a while, but I am dissapointed that Namco would sell such a short and feature- lacking game. This UMD is better off borrowed or rented-- that is for certain. This game is nice for a quick play, or for showing it off to friends.
The graphics and framerate are decent. But a major problem for me was the controls, which were not well thought out for the PSP. It can be a real pain (even physically) trying to hit all the right buttons. I found myself constantly, unintentionally shutting off my PSP from the awkward grip that was needed for this game.
The in-game camera is also quite annoying, but the enemy targetting system is decent. If you buy this game you will finish it in just a couple sittings (at the very most). There is no way I can recommend buying this game new.
I enjoyed it for the most part. I think the market has been established in such a way that certain games are good for buying and others are good for renting. This was definitely a good RENT. Very short, so good for a few days rental. Only problem I had was instinctively going for that other analog stick that didn't exist to pan the camera like on other 3rd person shooters. That was hard to get used to. You find yourself alot of the time not actually looking at who you are shooting.
