The first time I started up this game I was impressed, first with the opening movie which is great. The menus also rival Wipeout for the coolest and cleanest around. Then I started playing this game, and was very impressed with the foolproof drifting techniques, good AI which offer a diverse and often challenging gameplay. Graphics of course, have to be one of the game's main strengths, with them looking as silky and smooth as it would appear on the PS2, but of course the console would make it look a bit better. I haven't tried out the wireless play yet, but from other people I hear it is seamless and comparable to console 2 player. The only weaknesses that this game has is that the loading times are a bit on the slow side, you cann expect intervals between the menu and race to be round about ten seconds and possibly higher.
Overall, I would reccommend this purchase to anyone who would want it to show off the PSP's capabilities and anyone who wants a solid and enthralling racing game.
