When one goes to the store to purchase a case, they'd probably look at the basics: protection, functionality, and style. There are many options out there, which makes it very tough to find a case that presents any of the basic necessities of a good case. This case is one of the few out there that presents the basics of a decent case, does it well, and offers more.
Protection-wise, this case is more than enough. Get it as a throw-in-the-bag case, or even for keeping in your pocket. It's a little on the large size, but is made of nearly-indestructable material, so you don't need to worry about damaging your $250 investment.
In the field of functionality, it's very well done. While some cases are protective and have many features, not many allow you to play with it inside the case, as the PlayGear Pocket does. The PlayGear Pocket also has an innovative flip cover that flips backwards to hold the PSP at a watchable angle, so that's another plus. The convenient flip cover also blocks the sun out of your way, so you can play outside again.
Style wise this is a slick case. It adds the style of the PSP to its unique design. But another feature that is getting big fast is the fact that you can slip in your own skins between the rubber protection and the plastic exterior to personalize the outside.
Overall, this is a steal at $19.99, and it's got style and protection that you can expand on. It's a must-have for anyone who has a PSP.
This is the greatest case I have seen yet. I love how I can throw my psp into my bag and not worry about it getting crushed in that flimsy foam one. I can even prop it up when I'm watching movies. My only disapointment is that the usb port isn't open but all other corner are. GREAT ITEM!

It really depends where you're from. In the Philippines, "KKK" flags are everywhere because it is symbolic of the revolution which overthrough the rule of <insert one of the Philippines many conquerers here> (can't remember which, Japanese I think). I was pretty shocked the first time I ever saw it and had the same reaction you probably would (an incredible feeling of "WTF?!" Welcome to the internet, where you can't assume everyone is from North America or derives the same meaning from what we would consider offensive.
But back on topic: great case overall, though the exposed corners sometimes concern me slightly. I don't so much as "toss" it into a bag as gently put it in a seperate compartment of a bag that contains very little of anything else...
