It's a retractable USB charger for your PSP. Basically, you can connect it to your PC/Laptop via USB and esily charge your PSP. This probably isn't for everyone, since most people will simply use an outlet, or their car charger. However, for those that carry a laptop, or don't have any outlets available, this is a handy product.
This charger features a 35" cord, that, when retracted, is only about 3". I compared the USB charger to the standard charger that comes with the PSP, and the difference in charge time is quite dramatic. The standrad AV charger will charge an hour of play in about 20 minutes. The Javo Sync will charge 10 minutes of play in a little less than an hour. This is NOT because this charger sucks, but is simply because of the nature of USB ports. There is not a strong AC output in USBs. The good thing is, the power is strong enough to enable the 4th screen brightness, which is cool.
Although it is advertised as a charger, I would recommend the Javo Sync be used instead for non-battery powered play. So if your battery is drained, simply plug it in and play while it's plugged in, rather than waiting for it to charge.
A handy product to have for the few that need it. At only $13, it's not over priced at all. It may not be the best charger, since it only uses USB (which is weak), but it gets the job done. Check it out if you are on the go and crave your PSP!
I thought it would be something you could use to connect your PSP to a monitor, which would be cool. Sure some people say that destroys the whole point of it being portable, but this is my only console.
