| Summary: Sandisk adds color to brilliance
97
For those of us who don't have the disposable income to dish out on a 1 or 2 GB memory stick, there IS an alternative.
For under $70, Sandisk offers a high capacity, high speed memory stick duo that comes in a fashionable blue color. (although many would argue the fact that the Memory Stick is hidden from sight)
Personally, 512 mb is the perfect amount of storage. You can store hundreds of songs, as well as your favorite TV shows, so you never get bored with what's on your PSP... and if you're a photo person, don't worry about losing space, there's plenty of room for all your pictures.
Quality wise, this is really great. Why pay so much more for the Sony Brand model when you can get this?
It's an amazing product that anyone would be happy with, and all for a price that you can handle. Great buy!

i got this one for my birthdya and i love it. i currently have 4 cd's worth of music and 5 episodes of southpark on it, with still about 50mb to spare.
+
One can get twice the amount for under $100 now, why not forego the extra $30 for twice the capacity?
+
If you have a source for 1GB memory stick pro duos, please share. I can't find any at that price point. And I've Been Looking.

I paid 55 dollars for my 512 so i am happy, and I nearly went insane when i put my hour and 46 minute Fast and the Furious movie on my 512 and had almost half of the available space left! At about medium quality (which still looks amazing, and i mean amazing), an hour and a half movie will take up only about 250mb, leaving you with, well, room for almost another movie! I have heard people talk about how a 512 is worthless beacuase it cannot hold a full movie. PSHHH, just cut the malarky folks, lol.

that onsale.com site says "please call".... so I don't think they have them in stock... like everyone else, they're getting their supplies in what seems to be small batches... good price though... gonna bookmark it for future reference.

i got mine at newegg.com for 110$ fair in my book (1gb)

This is the best deal out there currently. $99 plus FREE 2-day delivery.
+
I got a 512 for $60 bucks on amazon.com. They had a sale or something, it was on back order though.
+
This was the best deal I could find (IN STOCK)

Fast delivery and no hassles.
+
^^^ (for the 1 Gig) - they also have all the other sizes of course.
+
Kipper the price is not $99, so this is not the best deal
+
do yall think the memory card price will go down anytime soon? 90 sounds like a good deal for a gig but i wish it could be lower..
+
Pidge - thanks for the link. With shipping, it came to about 104. That was absolutely the best price with the least hassle (no "coupons" or delays). Thanks for the tip. I can now release my fansub collection from their dingy harddrive ghetto to the glorious open spaces in my 1gb mspd!
+
The 1 GB is on sale now at Amazon with an 'after rebate' price of $80 bucks. Even more reason to skip the 512 and go straight to the 1 gb
