Rumours abound. It's not entirely clear what city this game will be based on. Some report Vice while others think it will be Liberty City. The only thing that is known for certain is that it is being worked on.

GameStop has pushed up the release date which was originally listed at 7/15/2005 and now is listed at 5/2/05... Ebgames has it listed for 05/15/2005... Game informers has it listed for 5/2/2005... I don't know if any of these dates are accurate but i feel its kind of strange how gamestop previously had this game slated for july release and all of a sudden just pushed it up to may (hopefully they know something we don't) but i wont get hype yet till i hear the facts
well i herd its in LC same place as 3 but u play as cj from san andreas and its kinda of a spinoff to san andreas basicly u play as cj b4 the events that lead to his mothers murder and the move to the west just hope they do whith gta what they did on mgs twin snakes and let u do all the new things (ride bikes jump out cars while moving) i really want some screen shots i reserved this when i got my psp : i went to ebgames.com or game stop or maybe gamespot w/e it was one of those sites were someone said to google image search playstaionportable and ur c a white psp with black lines and that the game on the screen is gta if someone can find this and have link that would be nice, i couldnt find it so.... yea:
I hope some screenshots/movies of this game are released soon, there is not a great deal of information out for psp other than the release date is now set to me in december sometime (according to amazon) and that this will in fact be based in Liberty City (That is the same city that was featured in GTA III) but this is not going to be a gta3 close, suppoedly it is going to be a sanandreas prequel
