Rumours abound. It's not entirely clear what city this game will be based on. Some report Vice while others think it will be Liberty City. The only thing that is known for certain is that it is being worked on.

personaly i think it will end up being a giant deception by rockstar, and in the end it will be gta:sa.
rockstar could just be blowing smoke up everyones holes about it. guess we'll have to wait till E3 to see...
the fact that GTA for PSP is set in liberty city is the one thing rockstar has been up front about. i never really heard of the companies lying about game details, but i suppose its possible. i think as long as the game is free roaming and 3d, i'll get it. if its not free roam or 3d, i'll still buy a copy to take pictures of it in my toilet where it belongs lol. i dont know, rockstar hasnt really dissapointed me with GTA but i really hope they try to make it feel like a new game instead of just a port of GTA3 with different missions. also, motorcycles please, and if theres room some helis and planes would be nice. also, yellowdart, do you know that they're going to show some details or any info at all at E3 or are you guessing? it would be nice to see some updates.
That would be great if they used the gta:sa map, but I'm pretty sure they will be using the gta 3 map because they said it and it makes sence. Everybody keeps talking about GTA's constant loading and how that wouldn't work on a PSP without killing the battery right away. The GTA 3 map is a lot smaller than the SA map, they'll probably optimize the gta 3 map so most of it fits into memory as you start the game.

it was nothing but pure speculation on my part. i havent heard anything. i guess i just naturally assumed that sony and rockstar would show off some of one of the most talked about psp games yet to be released.
