SC: Chaos theory is probably my favorite xbox game ever. i got it when it first came out over a year ago and i still love it. well, thats probably because i only recently got xbl, which is friggen awesome.
hopefully the headset comes into play. coop would be sweet..
now im gonna have to get this version and the xbox version of sc4 when they both come out.
damn, i cant get enough splinter cell

Just so you guys know, these are not actual screenshots of the PSP version. At least that's what I think. Captain please correct me if I'm wrong.
+
I don't think there have been any official Splinter Cell Essential PSP pics yet. I've seen captain put up pictures from other consoles before so I'm sure I'm right.
+
I am sick and tired of people who complain about people complaining about the second analogue stick. FPS games are unplayable without a second one, that's my opinion.
+
GTA, the resolution on those screenshots (mainly the way the text is displayed) is psp scale.. If anything, tell me what home console looks like the 3rd screenshot? the textures on that image do not even come close to matching xbox or ps2.

Platstation2 Official Magazine -Uk has the initial snippet review (sort of) and pics of Splinter Cell Double Agent, lots of classic Cell levels locations in Columbia and Yugoslavia. Levels are 10 inutes each (it says) and the pics shown are the same as the Mag's ones so heres hoping!! It also says the controls work well with just one Analogue stick!!!!!
+
inutes? meant minutes obviously

Don't really enjoy the Splinter Cell series because it lacks storyline and emotion, but, if this one can end up as good as SC4 seems, I might pick it up.
+
This game looks awesome

cant wait to get my itchy trigger fingers on this and socom ftb when they get UK release! to those that complain about 1 nub not being enough...why did you buy psp in the first place...why dont you find something else to cry about, alternatively, you could just sell your psp's so we dont have to listen to the same boring complaint every time a new game comes out!

Alright thanks for the correction. I just got the new Official Playstation magazine and they had no screenshots so I was wondering. I guess they only showed it in the UK one. When I saw the screenshots on here I tohught they were consoles because: 1. I couldn't find any on the net. 2. They look so damn good!

I can't wait for this to come out. I am not worried by the controls either. Its not a fast paced game, its all about slow, cool and calculated movements. Also, the game is very menu based. This makes a single button have lots of features. I do not think there are going to be any problems at all. Looking forward to it.

About the controls; Sony still hasnt used the usb port to its full potential which means they have the ability to add another control stick or even an adapter that adds all the buttons of a regular ps2 controller. If you look at the top you can see two squares on both sides of the usb port. Those squares are for sending power OUT of the psp which means that analog sticks and/or rumble is possible.
The only problem in starwars battlefront 2 is the inability to fine tune the sensitivity like coded arms. In my personal experience, Coded Arms has The best control scheme out of all the shooters ive tried.

do you really think sony are going to make an analog peripheral....think what you are saying. some 3rd party company will probably end up making an ad-on for all the moaners, then they will cry about that to cos its a bad idea and it wont work!
