This is not an FPS, it's a TPS. Either way, SC is my fave game of all time so can't wait. I am sure to be let down by the control system but I will have to live with it, until they come out with the updated PSP later this year with the second analogue stick.

Hey buddy... I really dont think you will see a new PSP for at least 2-3 years... Probably more. It will have a similar life cycle to that of the cousols. But this isnt the place to get into a discussion of such things.
But as this game goes, I hope it has a lot of infrastucture content. All I hear about it how great splinter cell is on Xbox live.edited: Jan 06 2006

Great, now I can take Sam with me anywhere. If we have to tunnel it through XBC, then we could just play, we wouldn't have any extra's like games made for online have. I'll do either one, but I'm hoping for Infrastructure play on this one.

Fps? Whoops! Looks alright, when it comes out we can see how well the controls hold up for a portable system. Maybe Ubisoft will get lucky and get the controls right, YAY!

It's amazing how many people whine about the "missing" second analogue stick... Remember 007 on the ol' 64? That's the most memorable shooter I know of... All games take some adapting. I'm sick of hearing all these whiny spoiled people bitch about everything. And personally, I'm looking forward to this title, but I think I'm anticipating the new Syphon Filter and Metal Gear SOLID titles much more... need more info. ...PSP rocks.

Goddammit why are so many people so freakin upset about the psp not having 2 analog sticks? It's fine! For all you guys who think the psp is missing an analog stick, rent battlefront two and try either the default or retro control schemes and see just how great an fps can be without a second analog stick!

for real! I gopt my psp two friggin months ago and Im in love with it! (and i dont like the idea of an updated psp coming out right now...cuz im frikin broke.) besides, they would sooner make an add-on secong analog for the original psp than make a completely new one just for the stick. but anywayz, yeak, SC is friggin awesome, so, w00t!

I agree with the above statement about the control whiners. Goldeneye 64 is the pinacle of controls followed by Halo. And the beforementioned worked fine with one analog stick and 8 (9) buttons. I have all the trust for UbiSoft and thier talented team for this conversion. If they can dumb down the XBox version onto PS2 and still have it look that good - then it's in good hands.
