It says 'supplied software CD', so it needs drivers to work.

The huge selling point to this is that the program acts as a secure server for all of your media. Making this very useful for people that have a small memory card. If you want to listen to some music, get on the wifi and download it from your computer VERY quickly! Trust me I have one.
I also installed it on a thumb drive, so when I go over to a friends house I plug both in and it works! (minus the "my media" part, but thats because its all on my computer)edited: Jan 02 2006

Router is way better than this piece of crap.
Router : Firewall, Wifi, no need for computer to be on to have wifi connection.
Dongle: No firewall, same price as wireless router, need computer to be on for usb to work.
ROUTER WINS!

Will this work for dial up? I dont mean specific for on-line gaming, but just for the browser at the least. My area isnt' up for anything above dial up for another year.

Because some people have dial-up and cannot get a wireless router and if this is really "Internet gaming through any internet-enabled PC", it will work with dial-up, in which case I will buy one.

umm do wireless routers work for any computer? or do u need a special routers for computers for example i have a imac g5

It should. Both devices use 802.11b/g, so the DS thing should work as well.

where can you buy one.....and i dont think it needs the soft ware to work cuz the soft ware is for putting music movies.ect.... on ur psp
