Yes but not near as bad as a standard screen protecter

yeah, but once it's on well it looks really nice

I bought this and have been really impressed. I've tried the Hori, the Martin Fields, the Brando film protectors and the Logitech snap-over protector (I'm kind of a perfectionist...which is kind of sad) and this has by far been my favorite. Feels like there's a little bit more leeway with applying it (although it does require several steps) but you can retry and retry without compromising the product.
That being said, I noticed that I had a hair under the screen after applying and letting it dry - and I can't have that. So I read up on this board and was a little concerned about the comment that removal of the protector would "torch" the appearance but removed it anyway. And it came off easily (I took it off very slowly) and did not affect the appearance in any way - no residue, no obliterating the logos, etc. - nada. I've since applied another one and it looks great. I would have absolutely no problem recommending this protector to anyone.

I was watchin the demo video on the site, and the zip bag test also, it said that at some angles the surface may seem bumpy or rough but straight on it looks smooth, dose it look bumpy at angles on the psp one?
+
If you really hard look at it, you'll see a texture (not bumps...just a texture) - but it doesn't detract from the appearance whatsoever...if anything, it makes the PSP look slightly more glossy.

Where did this 5 year life expectancy come from? Also, it clearly states on the website for this product that it can be removed at any time, they offer a 30 day money back gaurantee, and that they cover the product for life. It also goes on to say that it is NOT impervious to scratches, but that it will take a lot longer for scratches to effect this film than it would an unprotected surface. Also specifies that they will replace the cover if it every becomes un-usable or worn out.
I just received mine in the mail yesterday, but haven't gotten around to taking the time on install.... looks good so far, even got 2 other covers for cell phones as well.

I have purchased 2 of these one for my PSP and one for my wifes Nano. They arrived in the mail a few days ago, although I have been a bit reticent to apply it yet. Please keep posting your thoughts and tips.

Will my PSP be seriously damaged if I take that thing off of it?
+
NO it doesn't damage the PSP by removing it (even after it dries). Just have to remove it slowly and carefully.

Have just gotten a replacement (the old one was getting a little scuffed up). FREE replacement. Zero hassle. Came off without any residue and new one went on very easily following their instructions.
They are now having a 10% off sale. Now is a good time to get it! link
Also please see their picture of a shield on a PSP... link (My psp looks just like this)

I also took mine off after a couple of months and it didn't leave any adhesive - no damage to the PSP at all.
+
I have been thinking of getting one... so everyone who owns it is positive that it wont "torch" or leave any marks what so ever? so you can take it off months after its been on? if so that is great and i am getting one right away..
+
 Own it
I know this is an old post but I though you should know.
