ok, what a waste of money ($500/300 for headphones - wtf?, i cant see any justification on spending that on headphones whatsoever). why such a big need for bluetooth (or wireless) headphones when most of the time the PSP wont be any further than 1ft from your head (while gaming, but i doubt there are any benefits for listening to music). Plus you need to buy extra bits for your PSP (this - which will most likely cost a fortune also). I still cant believe anyone in their right mind would waste $300 dollars on headphones, never mind $500, you must have more money than sense.
I love how everyone's opinion is "it's a waste of money".. I'm sure if you could afford it you would be singing a different story. Yes the psp usually is only about a foot away from you at all times, but you still have six feet of headphone cord you need to deal with.. that's what makes wireless so great. Benefits include being able to set your psp or other bluetooth device (i.e. cell phone) down anywhere within a 10m range (or more if you have an extender) and still be able to hear your music: if it's a cell phone, you can still talk on the phone and answer calls without having to be right next to your cell phone. I think where wireless is most beneficial is at school or work where you don't want to have your psp out in the open but you still want to listen to music... you usually end up putting the psp in your backpack or pocket and running the headphones (and cord) to your head.. that sucks!! Well anyways you can look at it as a waste of money, I look at it as a luxury! If you can't afford the $500 one, the $89 one is just as good! The only problem is it weighs 12 grams instead of just 5 so it's a little more noticeable when you wear it. The reason the bluespoon 5g is $500 is because it's so small!! you're paying for convenience! Otherwise you can always go buy one of those bulky 16gram motorola bluetooth headsets for $50 that are the size of half your head, and have it break in a couple months and flop around everytime you look in another direction...
Once you go Blue nothing else will do! I owne the bluetooth headphones from HP for the HP IPAQ Pocket PC. It is liberating to be able to control the track and volume without all of the extra hastle of wires. The sound is great and I have yet to experience any distortion or interference. As we all know some headphones, "mostly earbuds do not do the PSP audio output justice. But with the ones that I owne it is nice and clear and I often must turn down the volume when certain scenes or songs come on. Way to go Blue! My phone is not Bluetooth inabled, but that is next.
