Bah, ugly grips my ass. Besides - AFAIK those pictures are not showing the final product, I'm pretty positive that they'll paint it black to begin with.
And I'd MUCH rather be holding a comfortable grip than a bulky PSP, because that's what it would get if you were to build everything into the case.

Not my style... I enjoy the sleek lines of the PSP. I would rather have a great case that holds MS Pro Duo's and buy 2 1Gig cards. Who is with me on this? What I really want is for Sony to get their heads out of their *** and bring the 2Gig MS Pro Duo down to a market level that is paletable by consumers. Reports show that the 4Gig MS Pro Duo (due out in fall of 2006) has an initial retail of nearly $900. What is Sony thinking!

really now... i hardly think that a sony 4gb mspd could cost anywhere near $900. look at the cost of a 2gb stick. im thinking that it would be around $400- $450. sure thats hardly a bargain, but theres no way in hell a 4gb could cost that much.

... They might as well not bother with a 4-gig if it is over $300 because anyone smart would just buy two 2-gigs.

Why buy this and then buy another memory stick when you can get a 1GB Pro Duo for less?

somewhat agreed... the price of pro duo cards are coming down to be close to the price of other cards. Unless you have a lot of high capacity CF, SD, or MMC cards, I find it hard to swallow the price and the size and awkwardness of the unit.

So that you do not need to swap between your sticks? And of course - to use MicroDrives!

when will they have support for an external drive (can anyone say iPod?) that will hold your videos, music (in raw MP3s on the disk side of the iPod not the hidden music side), web downloads. i've got the PSP and the iPod with video -- it would be sweet to have a small cable that plugged the two together and would allow the PSP to display the video from the iPod. i'm sure someone is working on it, and this cardreader/grip seems just one or two steps/ports away from doing it.

that wont happen watashi, or if it does it wont be a small cable, it will be a box inbetween the two allowing you to transfer stuff from the ipod to the psp's msd

" I am talking about for the average person who does not need 4GB and is only looking for 1 - 2GB this is not for you!!! This is only for people who want to go above the 2GB range, in this case it would be cheaper to buy this and another memory stick.
