Hey guys, Is this similar to what Apacer Share Steno CD211/311 can do? (its a USB OTG- "on-the-go", no need for PC to transfer files to and from the Apacer and PSP). If so, I might get this and sell my Apacer (aesthetics)...
Sorry 'bout that, I just read the LINK.. and it is a USB on the go! However, I paid $149 for my Apacer w/ 60GB. But otherwise, it (fotochute) seems like a good product! One good thing about these devices is that you can carry your converted movies, music, photo files and view them on your PSP (i have 1gb on mine)..or i was able to use it as an external harddrive for our laptop--(was able to back up my laptop to reinstall windows). We're also able to view our movies on the laptop (using Windows Media/DIVX player/Quicktime) so we dont have to lug our favourite DVDs when on a trip.
Rubber.. It acts like a hard drive when attached to your computer. It shows up as G drive on my computer. I drag/drop stuff onto the drive to copy to it. Then, when I am ready to copy to the PSP, I attach the usb cable..(like I would using the PC only this is the FotoChute) and I use the menu ON the FotoChute to select the file I want to copy to the PSP. Then, using the FotoChutes menu, I select the destination folder on the PSP and hit the copy button. It copies the selected file(s) from the FotoChutes drive to the correct folder on the PSP. I unplug it and Im ready to watch a movie..or listen to music..or view the photos I have transfered. If this doesnt answer your question. PM me by hitting the little + and selecting PM after my post. I'll be glad to try to explain it further.
hmmm lemme quote truewesh"pretty cool if u are a photagrapher yo check this out ,,!,,(**),,!,, +"
where should i begin my flame....lets see..."photagrapher" - stay in school....
maybe mr.truewesh didnt read any other posts in the thread...maybe he can't read at all and had someone read it to him...who knows....
...arrrg!
It's violently veering off topic into uncharted <and often illiterate> waters! Man the rudder! Hoist the main sail! Let's get back on TOPIC boys! (Besides..my ghettospeak is about as bad as my ebonics..which are non-existant!) Happy Holidays!
I prefer something with a bit more space and something that i could expand to a larger storage space later (by changing the laptop hard drive thats inside it). It connects to the pc the same way ( an external HD) as this so you can drop and drag files to a folder.
It has a fm radio on it a decent EQ, also plays mp3's, and it accepts almost any kind of card out there. All i do is stick the duo card from the psp into it and copy a file to any dir on the card. I can delete files on the duo as well very easily, it transfers 1gb in about 4-5 minutes. The only thing is it is a little bigger than this item.
On mine I have it loaded with over 100 movies and about 35 gb of music.
