I just posted a review..(waiting for someone to have the time to post it). $140, but it WAS on sale at office depot for $70 after a $70 mail in rebate. That was through Dec. 10th. It might go on sale again..really worth looking for if you travel.

In camera speak, I think I slave is the one that shots - as soon as the master tells it too (the master is the most important camera, which is controlled by you).
ya..or on a computer..the HOST controls things..and the outside drive..acts as a slave. This thing can do either job. Its a slave to your pc..but it hosts your PSP <and or digital camera, mp3 etc.>.
awsome, does this link right to the psp or will there be transfer times? this slave and host thing is confusing me sorry lol... besides like memory sticks is there anything out there that will directly count as memory on the psp like play it from the external hardrive with out downloading it to the memory stick? thanks guys...
You still have to have a memory stick. It will do the transfer without a computer..but it wont just connect as an external harddrive. Does that answer your question?
Someone posted a link to a version of this WITHOUT a screen. They sell both..with and without..but without you have no control over individual files. Its just for storage and not really useful for the PsP. Get the one with the screen so you can copy the file you want and leave the rest.
Thanks Chance for posting a review. Unfortunately I did not know how to do that. This device is awesome. This device is light, has a battery has usb 2 on the go so fast downloads. This device is black so it matches well with your psp. The most important thing abt this device is that it allows you to choose files within subdirectory which allows you to move mp3 and pictures and movies in the right directory. What is very important is that you get the unit with the lcd screen. As mentioned it also works with digital cameras, mp3 players and as a hardrive for your computer. This is simply an awesome product which made me very happy when it worked.

I forgot to mention it can choose the destination folder as well..which is very necessary with the Psp. Thanks again.
