I recently visited the Sony outlet store, and they had the case there. I opened the case out of the box and found that the case had very druable zippers and fabric/outside coating for the exterior of the case. Opening up the case you find that the foam surrounding the PSP is very thick and will probably protect the PSP from shock due to dropping etc. The first part of the case has a slot for 6 UMD disks and holds the headphones, and memory cards. When you open the velcro flap that cover the PSP there is the spot for the PSP and a spot for your charger. Over all the case is very usefull and it's pretty durable.
This is the Official carrying case for the Sony PSP. You can actually go to the Playstation website to see a larger picture of this item. I inspected a sample at my local Ebgames store. It is very attractive. The PSP metal plaque certainly adds a nice touch. It is a folio type case. The exterior feels like it's made of Cordura. The inside has a heavy rubber padding, with specific slots to hold your PS in place. It is well-designed. When I went to look for a carrying case, it was between this one and the SLAPPA Hardbody Complete. Both are nice and should protect the PSP very well. I chose the SLAPPA because the material on the outside will be easier to clean. Right now, this Sony case is hard to find. If you find one, and you like it, I suggest to go ahead and get it.
