I really don't get this type of device. Unless you are a game reviewer and you want some in game footage, why on Earth would someone want to use this thing? I thought the last P in PSP stood for portable. Why turn it into a home console?

Deep, I for one would love to play my PSP on my TV every now and then. I would also like to watch my UMD movies on the big screen. I play my PSP 95% of the time in my house anyway. I am sure a lot of people also would like to play and watch UMD's on their TV.

You obviously have a problem with this, which is absolutely fine. I will let you off seeing as your from Norway.

Resolution knight, resolution..... it will not look much on a "big" screen
I dont have any problem with your wish to use it on a TV, i want it to. But not the way this is done today and especially this product.
According to Sony there might be ways to do this in a more nice way when the PS3 is here. or better a USB device.

Knight and Deep, you both have decent points. This is a great device in that it allows you to connect your psp to some external viewing device (for the bored significant other or movie watching. While the res on the psp is not great, it is pretty similar to vcd quality, which I'm sure a lot of you are fine with. Additionally, if they've built a device (which they have) that converts the LVDS signal for the panel to ntsc/pal then they've demuxed the feed and can create a mostly clean video out.

My reservation is the front panel replacement and the price. The price _is_ way to high and the replacement neccessity is to severe.
