When you're desperate for a little more juice and can't find a plug anywhere, it's time to put a little muscle into it.

i'd get one so my friends would laugh at me while i use it. and then i won't let them touch my psp. unless they wind it for me while i play!

I think it would be a bad accessory cuz when you charge a battery you have to charge it up to full every time or else it loses it's capacity to charge fully, am I right? They should take this off the market. You can't just add a little juice to a battery and then use it up or else it will be ED!!!

this was true with the old nickel cadmium batteries (Ni-Cd). you'd have to charge them only when they are completely empty, and you'd have to charge them to full. otherwise it would lose it's capacity to hold a charge. then they came out with nickel metal hydride (Ni-MH). this battery allowed you to charge any time, but it would gradually lose it's capacity over time. finally, they made the lithium ion (Li-ion) batteries (used in most cell phones and electronic devices - including the PSP). you can charge this battery at any time and as much as you'd like. for the time being, they are pretty efficient.edited: Mar 07 2005

...personally, i don't watch movies to exercise(vice versa). I'd rather sit down and relax. This is definitely only for the desperate. Who wants to wind their way for power. (i would only use it in case of an emergency.)-like that would ever happen.(sarcastic)

it probably has some serious gears ( like a bike on the highest gear) so it probably wont take too long. a half an hour at the most for me, if im in a good mood.

Man, this thing is awesome, I adore alternate energy sources. This is going to sit right next to the solar charger on my wishlist (metaphorically, anyway)
