Nice... A powered cleaner... I wonder if it buffs the scratches away...

How do you get scratches on your UMD anyway?

Although leaving your 40 or 50 dollar UMDs on the floor sounds disturbing, I don't think that this will be a necessity. Unless your playing in the mud racing a couple of your closest friends of course. Then I guess this is just for you.

i never once trusted those blasted things ... hear too many stories about them not working properly ... probably due to the fact that the people need a certain level of knowledge and skill to work those and that that knowledge and skill usually equates to the lack of destruction placed on media disks ala dvds and cds.

but it looks cool and i'm sure someone will buy in thinking ... "what if i get a scratch?"

I think it's pretty obvious that this is aimed at morons. Seriously, only a complete idiot doesn't know how to take care of a UMD. Every UMD I have is in good condition because I'm not leaving them all over the place and take steps to keep them in working order.

Isn't Max that lame company that makes all those generic products that they sell at blockbuster?

I've kept my UMDs in an airform case the entire time i've had them and every once in awhile I'll notice a small speck of dust or hair get underneath the plastic.. I think that's what this is mainly for.. to get rid of hair and dust. The scratch repair would be a "just in case" kind of deal.. Even though it would be nice to get the dust/dirt/hair out from under the UMD, I wouldn't risk putting it in one of these contraptions..

I'm thinking about getting it. My UMDs get dust particles on them once and a while, and I use a microfiber cloth to remove them. This would make it a lot easier...

Awesome, I've been trying to think of ways to waste my money and thank god MaxCare has the answer. this is stupid.

Why not come out wiht a UMD laser cleaner instead? This is the dumbest invention. Ever.
