A recharge AA's voltage is 1,2V and the PSP battery is 3,6V.
You will then need 3 batteries to get the voltage, the latest types of recharg AA have about 2200mAh
So if you can cram in 6 AA batteries you have 4400mAh of battery life.
I've seen that battery, I'm even thinking of picking one up. But to me a 400mAh upgrade is worthless. Sony should have given us that battery as a stock part instead of something we would have to by later.
I have found a much higher capacity psp battery, the Li-Polymer 3600mAh battery, it said that The capacity is more than three times of your original battery. and it is compatible with PSP 1000 and PSP 2000/ PSP Slim.
