Based on the Japanese number puzzles that have taken the world by storm, Go! Sudoku will be your lifelong Sudoku companion with a totally fresh new look and playing experience for Sudoku experts and novices alike. The game will have 1,000 brand new puzzles and you can download additional puzzles later on.
For the first time Sudoku is no longer a solitary pastime - Go! Sudoku offers players a multiplayer option where up to four people can enjoy a range of games including pass, versus or battle for competitive or collaborative gameplay. There is music to help get your brain in gear, and, for that personal touch, players can set the games against their favourite photographic backdrop.
To get beginners started, Go! Sudoku has tutorial, training and an innovative help system for novices that gives players five chances to input the right number in each puzzle - but after that players are on their own. Go! Sudoku features:
Game Share - send your PSP owning friends up to 5 Sudoku puzzles to try
Save your scores with Best Times and merge records wirelessly with other players to see who really is kingpin
Personalise your Sudoku experience with pictures from your photo directory
Enjoy animated 'elemental' grid backdrops covering air, earth, water and fire
Test your nerve with the Time Challenge Mode
Keep it fresh with downloadable content. Set for launch in 2006, the downloadable content will include brand new puzzle packs

OMG its Sudoku, no one in Japan has heard of it and for some reason everyone is currently obsessed with it but why in the name of Jesus would somene want to buy a sudoku game on UMD? You're basically talking about logic puzzles that are worth so little they are given away for free being sold on a UMD, add this to the fact that this UMD is expected to compare with the likes of GTA Liberty City Stories, Infected, FFVII, Star Wars Battlefront and so much more it really makes you wonder what kind of twisted marketing executive thought this one up.
This game will basically cost absolutely nothing to make but how is it supposed to compare to real UMD games, why use a PSP to do what you can do with a pencil and the morning paper or a very cheap book that'll be full of puzzles?
I seriously hope that no one buys this game, it's like buying 'O's and 'X's for the PSP, or a crossword puzzle. It's actually easier to do puzzles on paper than on the PSP as you can scribble notes etc. As for the special features they're basically a joke, animated backgrounds, timed challenges, could you seriously come up with anything worse?
I would much rather buy an electronic Hangman UMD than this...

Hey guys,
Thanks for all the comments. Bit of a mixed bag there.
I'm one of development team that worked on Go Sudoku.
May I just add that the real cool feature of this release is the Wifi 4 player battle mode. We had loads of fun testing it and i hope you do playing it.
It's on game share too so i think that £20 is pretty reasonable.
A lot of late nights and hard work went into the project so *crosses fingers* enjoy. :D

To be honest I never had heard about this game until I read about it on the PSP gamesite in The Netherlands that I work for. It has been in several newspost on the frontpage and we even have an advertisement on the same page for this game (psponly.nl). When I saw the screenshots the first thing that came to my mind was: boring. But I decided to give it a try on the Go! Sudoku site and OMFG now I am addicted and pre-ordered my copy right away! Only problem with the 4 player battle mode is that I have no other people with a PSP that live close to me so an Infrastructure would be nice here. Also Mp3 support would make the game even better. Anyway I think I'm going to like this game a lot because the most games that I have now for the PSP have either to do with cars, shooting or a combination of the two.

 Own it
How can I get the game?

I bought this for my girlfriend. I never really knew what Sudoku was about, but now I'm bloody all over it. Like Lumines, me and my ladyfriend would be beating each others hi-scores (of course I won back then), now the Sudoku score wars have begun! I come home to find a faster time to beat and vice versa.
Defo worth the £20. <cheesy advert voice> It's a game for all the family! </cheesy advert voice>. I find it great for gettin' my brain back to a workable level after playing Socom FTB and We and my Katamari :D

Is there a nice player who can upload is save game of Go!Sudoku! please...
+
Why would you want a save game file? Just play it.
