It doesnt store anything... This acts as a bridge between a memory stick and a USB drive. So if you have a portable harddrive that doesnt have host mode, meaning you cant connect your memory stick to it, then you can use this to transfer files without a PC as the middle man.

I wish they had come out with this sooner. I could have used it with a large external USB hard drive instead of the Steno drive. Though, I do wonder which one has the better interface.

The problem with the Aleratec copy cruiser USB is that whenever it transfers files it creates a folder named "backup" in the target drive. As you may now creating this folder will break the PSP file structure and any files within will not be played.
