1 Byte is made of 8 Bits. So the are trying to inflate the space of these cards. It is the same thing with modems. how many of us had a 56KiloBit modem. when you download something you see that it actually 4kiloBytes a sec
having the extra battery power and the extra space for the price isn't bad. but i really like the sleekness of my psp. i don't know if i'd want to give that up.
There are plenty of external batteries that work like the Powerbrick (but don't suck like that one) and does nothing to the physical dimensions of the PSP itself. I can carry my 3800mAh one in one pocket and my 80GB Steno drive in another.
If I'm not on a long trip or something so I don't need the extra juice or movies, all I need is the PSP in it's case and hanging on my neck. I'll just keep quietly craving the 4GB memory sticks so I can get the entire Lord of the Rings trilogy (special edition) on there at once. :-)
There's definately something wrong with that picture. It doesn't even work. The bulge of the PSP in its origional state isn't even there, like the back has been unscrewed. Id like to see some real pictures instead of these lame doctored ones. I bet it'll look like a mutant cyborg, with blocky attatchments, and loose wires all over the place.
dude i can't wait until this comes out. asked my mom for a 2 gb. well this comes out and BAM. i just preordered it. YES ALL MY SONGS AND VIDS ON THE PSP!!!!!!!1
