I heard it will have a cable that runs from your memory stick slot to the battery on the back of the PSP... Kind of kludgy. It would be nice if the X2 fit in the PGP so you wouldnt have to worry about snagging it. Or if it was a wide pack that went flush against the back of it like the Power Express.

huh well this is a rip off i think you can get a 40gb external hardrive that's as big as an ipod for $160 yes 40gb not 4
I think this shows some promise. Unlike USB HDD solutions, this will be at least somewhat integrated and 4GB provides quite a bit of room for movies and other stuff.
its sounds KOOL but its to much for $25o its like buying a PSP again.....all i want is the NEW SONY Battery that should come out soon and a @ GB sTICK thats all i be happy ... i am not paying $250 for that i am saveing that money and buying a PS3 ........
By looking on the pictures on other sites link You can clearly see that the 4GB HDD will be mounted on the same side as the Memory Stick slot is, so I guess it will be chunky on both back sides of the psp...I think that great, it will probebly feel better in my palms...My only consern of this product is it´s price...250 USD is to much...way to much...
Yes, it’s true. We are actually making the first production units this Monday (10th Oct 2005). The price you state in your article [, $260 USD,] is incorrect, it’s not that much. Can’t tell you the exact amount myself, but you’ll soon find out in an official press release from our marketing department. The unit attaches to the back of the PSP in a similar fashion to our double capacity X2 battery; the battery being at one end and the hard disc at the other which makes the PSP feel very nice in the hands."

true, but you cant stream video or music from an external HD and i'm pretty sure you can with this. if it doesnt stream video or audio, its not worth it for me. it is a little bulky, which kind of takes away form the whole portable aspect of this, but it seems like a pretty good product if the quality is there. they should make a case to go with this because i bet it would sell a lot better if people had a hard case for this.
