Mugen is a buck wild warrior - violent, thoughtless and womanizing. Jin is a vagrant ronin - mysterious, traditional, well-mannered and very strong as well. These two fiercely independent warriors can't be any more different from one another, yet their paths cross when Fuu, a ditzy waitress, saves them from being executed when they are arrested after a violent swordfight. Fuu convinces the two vagrant young men to help her find a mysterious samurai "who smells of sunflowers." And their journey begins. This is a story about love, friendship and courage . . . . NOT!
wow, 2 episodes and i bet its only 15-20 bucks, what a deal........NOT lol. I love cowboy bebop but i havent really gotten into champloo yet even though i try lol. i mean its got good music, action, and so far an ok story, just hasnt wowed me yet.
no kidding. umd's movies cost more than the dvd counterparts and they have less features and you can't watch them on your home system. talk about rip off. if they did movies for $2 less than dvd and double episodes for $6 to $8USD bucks i'd buy all of mine anime like that. or single episode for $3 i'd do that too.
samurai champoo is pretty good series. afaik it's only one season. and no plot line IMO.
I think it had just about the same amount of plotline that cowboy bebop had... and almost in the ame format as well (character development, character development + situation, unknown past of character, development, story, development, story, development, plotplotplot done.
good summary digi, but i agree with agent in that I cannot get into the series. I watched the whole thing and didnt really care until the last 2episodes, which is actually the only episode where anything happens. All told, i say it doesn't have the majic of bebop or the ambience. Plus mabey its just me but i don't really like any of the hIP hop songs they choose as opposed to the great jazz in bebop
I dont know why i like bebop more, i just got really into it and i kind of like the future that it portrays. its not exactly real, but its fairly realistic. no aliens, no laser guns, nothing like that. i like how everything in the series is an issue like buying rockets or buying the right kind of rockets, and how they are always trying to get some food lol. maybe its just me.
I personally like it better than bebop, and thats saying a lot on my part..
I think the second part of misguided micreants is one of the most beautiful animated episodes on any series, ever. (don't want to ruin it for you guys) ..
I have every episode and have seen the whole thing probably about 5-6 times.. I can't get enough of it.
i dont know, i dont think they could fight eachother because they are both cartoons lmao. anyways, spike+jeet koon+gun is pretty crazy lol. mugen could take vicious though
This anime rocks! i seen the entire series and it cant get any better. i really like the art/anime work here. but im not sure if i wanna buy it. I never buy series or movies for my psp cause i never really have time to watch it...bus rides are like 35 mins to get to school and go back home so i really cant see a full movie....i only play games and listen to music. but whoever has a 1 gb mem then ur all set...no buying movies 4 u....u can put it on ur 1gb mem.....but then again it is easyer to buy then to convert....man o mighty....hard to decide huh...anyways overall this anime rocks....its worth buying on psp if ur bored on the bus...but $$ is wasted when u can get a lovly memory stick or a game or sumthing really cool ^__^
