Pinball Hall of Fame features a compilation of 11 of Gottlieb's greatest tables recreated in a 3D environment, the Pinball Hall of Fame authentic visuals and sound effects takes players back in time to when pinball machines ruled the arcades.
The game's collection of 11 of Gottlieb's greatest tables includes Aces High, Central Park, Big Shot, Genie, Black Hole, and Victory, plus three tables never before seen in a Pinball Hall of Fame game. In addition to the authentic visuals and sound effects, pinball aficionados will also enjoy the historical art and fun facts from the golden age of the game, and two player "game sharing" via wireless connection with one disc.
If this is the same as the PS2 version, I would really steer clear. I love pinball and was very disappointed with the lack-luster quality of the old Gottlieb pinball tables. It's nice that people are going for something a little different, but this isn't the pinball game you've been waiting for.
With a price of only $29.99 and the reviews it has been given, that should give you ample warning on this. Otherwise just rent it first if you really want to give it a try would be my advice. Also it will be put on the 22th of November. But the way it's selling used for the PS2 at under $10 right now.
My own personal opinion is I'll stick with Pinball from Hudson for the PSP right now thank you.
I picked this game up yesterday and have played maybe an hour so far. Granted it's not Socom or GTA but it's a decent time killer for $29.99. I didn't buy it thinking it would be some groundbreaking game. I just wanted something I could pop in and play when I had a few minutes to kill here and there....I think for that it's a pretty decent game.
