Have you guys ever thought of putting the old faceplate back on if you have to send your psp in for service or something, they would never know that you had a custom one. Unless of course you had to break a seal to put it on, I dont' know much about this stuff
+
But...But my PSP is white T_T.......
+
Why would installing this faceplate void the warranty? If you have a problem with your psp just put the old faceplate back on and go for it. Am i missing something? I dont see a problem.
+
Oops just saw a previous post. Even if there was some sort of "Seal of Sony Protection", how could they prove you broke it? And that it wasn't some kind of factory fault? I doubt they are watching that closely... If you like it do it, worry about the small stuff later. After all the psp only costs about $240 in the first place. Not exactly the family fortune..
+
Do NOT buy this directly from "Xtreme Enterprise", the manufacture in Singapore!!!
I would recommend buying this from "DecalGirl" or "Lik-Sang.com".
Xtreme screwed up my order and has done nothing to fix their mistake!
They have not refunded me any money and do not respond to many e-mails sent to them.
+
I just wrote up my review of my experiences with the Asterix, look for it soon. Bottom line: not as great as it seems. It wasn't worth the money or effort, and it looks worse by the day.

Techrep,
Why don't you engage us in our skype or AIM at limtk55 instead of ranting about your bad experience here? I think that way you will definitely get more help and resolution ... unless you were an agent paid by someone to talk bad about the company... for whatever reason...
We are more likely to resolve issues with people who are constructive in their criticisms than people who bad mouth and create a mockery of themselves with your own bad behaviour in forums...

Are you from Xtreme Enterprise?
If you are... Why don't you respond to my direct e-mails?
I don't use AIM or skype. Why should I have to use some other form of contact?
As far as ranting... I am warning other PSP users and buyers of my factual bad experiences with this company.
No... I am NOT a paid "agent".
I am a normal customer that has been ripped-off.
If you are an employee of Xtreme Enterprise... then your response here is a perfect example of the poor customer service I have received from your company from the start.
I received my order incorrectly.
I returned the incorrect order per all of your instructions.
I have done nothing wrong... except trust in your company as a customer.
You have done nothing except be unhelpful and difficult and arguementative.
+
Proves my point exactly...

Why do you NOT reply to my direct e-mails to your company?!
You have taken my money and the returned incorrect item.
Where is my refund that you promised in your direct e-mails to me?
I have followed all of your instructions.

Wow limitk55, if you're from Asterix, i must say, what a very poor way to handle a customer. You made yourself and your company look like a bunch of 13 year olds who just want our money.
Way to blame the customer for problems. How about trying to work the issues out first?
I'm now officially purchasing an XCM faceplate. I don't want to deal with bull from customer service reps like limitk55.

link This is a better site to get a faceplate

I just got mine today! I was so excited when it came in the mail! it looks better in reality than online. I ordered about a month ago from decalgirl.com, but the buttons were on backorder, so, it just shipped a week ago. I installed it this morning. the only complaint that I have is that she screw holes weren't predrilled in the shape of the screw. There was only a hole for the screw, but it was VERY tight. So, my fingers are still a little sore from screwing it on, but it fits well and looks great! I got the clear one, and you can't really tell where the screenpiece fits into the faceplate. There's not really a gap. I give it an A+.

 Own it
limitk55, i've had mail contact with you before, every order I placed went wrong, or was something wrong with the product.
you reply very late to emails and my last two emails you did not reply at all!
So don't come telling us her differently...
I mailed about your repainted gunmetal black faceplates you call matte black now, and the matte coating comes off in a week playing. no reply
I own both, so could compare after I took off the complete matte coating with only windex.. I painted it matte myself 5 months ago and it's still fine... I understand the gunmetal black didn't sell very well, but at least take the trouble to give it a proper grounding or degrease them before you matte coat them...
the email was also about that you sold it for 49 dollars to me and came with a TRANSPARENT button set, which was absolutly useless to me (and cost only 7 dollars at liksang, so you are also more expensive)
a week after my mail you started selling m seperatly for 29 dollars
I mailed you again, still no reply...
both my orders with you took 6 weeks to arrive...
So yes, we tell people to buy somewhere else, and where a lot of people agree.. some must be right don't you think? btw if you took the trouble to mail me back, I would not have posted it everywhere... so you take it on your self... At least update your buy site if you have new products and don't push people to buy a buttonset that doesn't fit with the color at all!!!
Further I must say you make nice products (but start adding some led indicators plastics with your faceplates).
Any news about the baseplates yet???edited: Jul 10 2006
